I made this quilt for my sister Tamara. This pattern was from the cover of a quilt book. I made a few changes and we named it
Vagabond's Compass, because Tamara is such a world traveler. It is made entirely of Batik fabrics, and the compasses are all paper-pieced.
This is the label on the back of the quilt. I used a fine-line black sharpie.
The fabrics on the back of the quilt are mostly Asian prints, and some batiks, and a compass print.
