This is a modified Laundry Basket quilt. I put an extra border of background fabric around the trees to set them apart from the border. And then put the border all around the quilt (the original pattern only had the bottom edge with the border). The batting for this quilt is wool and the backing is flannel because it went to Alaska with my son Scott and his family in August of 2012 to keep them warm.
The fabrics are mostly batik and I used triangle papers to make the half-square triangles. And I made about a zillion.
